Idea 1

Another element of this advert that I like is how there is a narration to accompany the animation on the coffee cup. The narrator describes how at Starbucks, everyone receives a personal service by being referred to by their name, which immediately makes the audience feel like the people at Starbucks know them well. In consolidation of this idea, I will use a cup as the central image of the shot.
Idea 2
The second idea for my project is for me to have a group of people singing a song, similarly to the group of people singing "I was made for loving you" in the Costa advert. The musical element of the Costa advert interested me the most about this advert because it conveys people's strong passion for Costa coffee and it will inform customers that Costa coffees are made with love. Also, I know that using a catchy tune as my main music would be effective because it would make my advert memorable.
In addition, the size of the group of people singing can inform the audience of the large popularity of Costa, therefore, this may encourage them to go and have coffee in this shop rather than a Starbucks or a Caffe Nero etc.
Idea 3
My final idea would be to show how the coffee is made in a cup, which is similar to a Caffe Nero advert. The advert shows the coffee beans falling, which is similar to Costa and it assures the customer that their coffee is fresh. Elsewhere in my research, I noticed how the advert informs the audience that their coffee is made fresh and each bean is "hand picked", which employs the use of logo advertising as it references to facts about their coffee. In consolidation of this idea, I will use facts about the coffee in my advert.

How my research has helped develop my idea?
My research into different adverts and target audience has helped develop my idea because I have been able to discover how different coffee chains all have different ways of advertising their products whether that is through music or through describing how the coffee is made or offering customers free coffee. After being influenced by these ideas, I plan to use a mixture of these ideas shown in my own advert. Also, I plan to give my advert a Christmas theme because this is mainly the time of year when companies are releasing festive adverts to advertise their Christmas products.
